Swedish dj/producer DJ Devastate drops another remix through The Find. After his interpretations on tracks by The Roots and Amy Winehouse, this time he transforms Anthony Hamilton’s “Comin’ From Where I’m From” together with keyboardist, fusion artist and owner of Analog Sweden, Fredrik Segerfalk.

On the original title song off Anthony Hamilton’s second album, the soul-storyteller is assisted by piano keys to talk about getting out of the ghetto. This remix stays true to that with mesmerizing keys. Thumping drums and a soothing sax serve as a perfect backdrop for Anthony Hamilton’s introspective lyrics.

The artwork is done by Jonas Hilmersson and Fredrik Segerfalk plays the rhodes. DJ Devastate: “Fredrik is a good friend of mine. He played various instruments on many of the tracks on my album ’Movement/Silence’ on BBE Records.” Segerfalk runs the studio Analog Sweden in Helsingborg, focused on vintage synthesizers and analog studio equipment.
